About Rabbi Yonson Sacks

As a musmakh of RIETS (Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary), Rabbi Yonason Sacks carries forward the teachings and legacy of his rebbi, Rav Yosef Dov Soloveitchik zt"l, infusing that mesorah into every facet of his Torah. He currently serves as the spiritual leader of Agudas Yisroel Bircas Yaakov in Passaic and as Rosh Yeshiva at Beis Medrash LeTalmud (Lander College for Men), where his shiurim resonate with a remarkably broad range of talmidim. In addition, he is a sought-after lecturer, delivering guest shiurim at institutions throughout the United States, Israel, and beyond.

Rabbi Sacks descends from a distinguished rabbinic lineage. His great-grandfather, Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank, served as Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem for over fifty years; his grandfather, Rabbi Menachem Sacks, was a pillar of Jewish education in Chicago for nearly six decades; and his father, Rabbi Louis L. Sacks, led Congregation Anshe Emunah in Delray Beach, Florida.
